Jeffree Star recently confirmed his fans’ worst fear that he and boyfriend Nathan Schwandt have broken up. Almost immediately after, there were rumors swirling as to why the two called it quits.
From Nathan being deemed a golddigger to Jeffree Star’s rumored inflated ego — there were dozens of theories surrounding the buzzworthy split.
The rumor that gained the most traction was from a social media tea page that claimed Nathan had already moved on with another woman in Malibu.
Jeffree, who was getting ready to leave the brand new home he once shared with his ex-beau took to Snapchat to speak up about the speculation.
‘A lot of you are like, ‘Are you and Nate like hanging out right now? I was visiting my grandma, Grandma Mary turns 103 this July and I don’t know how long she has left so I have been visiting her a lot…instead of having my security guards or team watch my dogs, why not have Nathan, who raised them with me for years, watch them instead? Also him and I both felt like it was necessary to show that he is actually at my house today, because there are a few media outlets reporting that Nathan is in another city with another girl,’ he explained after letting fans know that Nathan was in the same room as him earlier in the day.

This is really rough. so I just wanted to put the records straight because people aren’t going to disrespect him, you’re not going to disrespect me…so I’m going to go say goodbye to him, he’s going to go say goodbye to the dogs, and I am going to take a big hit.’

According to the makeup guru, they were so busy with things going on in their lives that they never stopped to think about if they were actually in love with each other. They realized they weren’t and pulled the plug on the relationship almost two weeks ago.
