Changing Rooms is being relaunched on Channel 4 with new presenter Davina McCall and fans want to relive the epic teapots disaster scene.
The makeover series originally aired on BBC between 1996 and 2004 where people swapped their houses to renovate one room in each other’s places.
Now, Davina McCall is replacing former presenter Carol Smillie and she will join designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on the series.
But as much as fans are excited about the revival news, many want to relive the teapots disaster scene from the old series.

Over the course of eight years, the series featured so many interior design projects.
But when it comes to DIY and home improvement, there are always some accidents or disasters involved since renovation work comes with its challenges.
In one episode, interior designer Linda Barker created a hanging shelf where she displayed a collection of antique teapots and books. However, things didn’t go to plan when the teapots broke since the shelf couldn’t hold the weight of the books.

Fans react to the teapots scene
As soon as fans heard about the renewal of the show, many took to Twitter to share clips and images from the teapots scene.
One fan tweeted: “I can’t stop thinking about the smashed teapots and collapsed shelving on Changing Rooms.”
“Omg. The poor teapots,” someone else reacted. “They did not deserve this. The people consented to Changing Rooms, tue teapots did not.”

Davina McCall talks about new role
The original series aired for 10 seasons and featured many impressive interior projects and hilarious disasters.
New presenter Davina McCall is excited to host the renovation series on Channel 4 and bring back “amazing transformations” on the telly. Speaking to The Sun, the presenter said:
“I’m so excited to be presenting Changing Rooms. It’s the perfect time to bring it back. Everyone is going DIY and decor-mad! I can’t wait to see all the amazing transformations. I might even get stuck in myself if I’m allowed to be let loose with a paint brush.”
The news about Davina’s role comes after former presenter Carol Smillie revealed that she would be up to return as a host on the show. Carol said:
“It was definitely the favourite show of my career, without a doubt. It would be the only show I’d come back to telly for.”
