Abby Dahlkemper is an American professional soccer player and model, best known for her career as a center-back in the North Carolina Courage soccer team starting in 2017, as well as playing for the United States Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT) starting in 2016. She started her career as an amateur in 2005 and played for MVLA Avalanche until 2010, as well as for her school’s soccer team, Sacred Heart Preparatory, between 2008 and 2011. At that point, she moved over to play college soccer for UCLA Bruins and remained part of the team until 2014, while in 2013 she helped them win their 1st ever NCAA National Championship. In 2013, she also signed a contract with the club Pali Blues in the W-League and won the National Championship in July of that year with them.

After she signed with LA Blues in 2014, Abby was also a part of Western New York Flash (2015-2016), and on a loan to Adelaide United in the same season. After WNYF got sold to North Carolina owners, Abby automatically became a part of a joint soccer club named North Carolina Courage. Abby played every minute in 2017, helped the team win NWSL Shield, and was named “2017 NWSL Best XI” and “NWSL Defender of the Year for the 2017 Season”. She also took part in the 2-0 win against The Netherlands in early July 2019 to win the 2nd-straight World Cup for the United States Women’s Team. In May 2019, a well-known magazine, Sports Illustrated, invited her to be featured in a photoshoot for their Swimsuit issue. She has also amassed a large fanbase online with more than 300k followers on Instagram.
