In a bit of a surprise, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers leave Week 10 as the co-favorites to win Super Bowl LVIII, according to BetMGM. Here’s what you need to know:
- As of Tuesday morning, the Chiefs and Niners stood at +500 with the Philadelphia Eagles just behind those teams at +550. Last week, Kansas City and Philadelphia ranked in a near tie as the favorites to win the Super Bowl and will face off in Week 11.
- The 49ers leaped after their Week 10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, which snapped a three-game losing streak.
- The Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins come in next at +900 with the Dallas Cowboys at +1000.

NFC teams raising stronger argument?
The narrative entering the season surrounding conference hierarchy leaned far more toward the AFC being the superior half of the NFL. Is that the case anymore? Stack the Eagles, 49ers, Cowboys and Detroit Lions against anyone in the AFC right now. You’d be hard pressed not to take these teams in a heads-up matchup, including against the Chiefs. And frankly, those four teams would be a bit of a toss-up if they played each other right now.

The Chiefs and Dolphins kicked back on their bye weeks and watched much of the top AFC contenders fall off. Losses by the Ravens, Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills put a damper on the conference’s clout.
